During his tenure at CSC, Kevin has promoted sustainability, project efficiency, quality control, and cost savings with his clients. For example, while engineering the steel connection design on the Tawes Fine Arts Building at the University of Maryland, Kevin developed a shoring plan for the existing floor, selected appropriate cranes to maneuver inside the existing space, and designed bolted field splices for the large girders. The result was savings and sustainable solutions. As the company has grown, so has Kevin’s passion of learning for structural engineering including steel design, stair and handrail design, construction engineering, and foundation design.
